Position Overview
We are seeking a seasoned engineering leader to oversee our Mobile team focused on iOS and Android platforms. This role entails leading and mentoring mobile engineers, setting strategic technical directions, fostering AI integration in workflows, and collaborating with diverse teams to deliver features to millions of users worldwide.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and nurture a team of mobile engineers, promoting responsibility across all project phases.
- Offer hands-on technical leadership in mobile app development, architecture, and best engineering practices.
- Drive adoption of AI technologies throughout development workflows to improve quality and speed of delivery.
- Manage end-to-end delivery of mobile initiatives, ensuring alignment with business goals and deadlines.
- Work closely with product, design, backend teams, and other stakeholders to meet shared objectives.
- Act as the technical authority for solving complex mobile development issues and ensuring application scalability and robustness.
Candidate Profile
- Minimum eight years of experience in mobile engineering with at least three years in leadership or management roles.
- Demonstrated success in building and expanding engineering teams with strong judgment and motivation.
- Deep expertise in iOS or Android development and thorough knowledge of the mobile technology ecosystem.
- Proven integration and usage of AI tools in engineering processes, beyond just awareness.
- Excellent communication skills capable of aligning cross-functional teams and working effectively with stakeholders at various levels.
- Ability to navigate uncertainty and make solid technical and product decisions in a rapidly evolving environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience delivering AI-driven features in mobile applications, such as personalization, intelligent search, or on-device machine learning inference.
- Background in fintech, cryptocurrency, or other high-scale consumer app domains.
- Knowledge of mobile performance optimization on a large scale.
