The Team

The Engineering team plays a critical role in upkeeping the hotel's facilities, equipment, and infrastructure to guarantee outstanding experiences for guests and associates. Through preventive maintenance, technical knowledge, and operational excellence, the team ensures smooth property operations around the clock.

Your Role

As an HVAC Technician reporting to the Plant Supervisor, you will collaborate closely with the Engineering team to maintain the heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and mechanical systems throughout the hotel. You will be accountable for the upkeep, repair, and monitoring of HVAC and related mechanical equipment to uphold safety, efficiency, and guest comfort.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct preventive maintenance, inspections, and repairs on HVAC and mechanical systems to guarantee optimal functionality.
• Attend promptly to guest requests, maintenance issues, and engineering work orders via the designated communication channels.
• Diagnose equipment problems and apply effective corrective measures to reduce downtime and minimize disruption.
• Monitor system operations, record measurements, and maintain accurate maintenance logs and records.
• Adhere strictly to safe work protocols, including lockout/tagout procedures and hotel safety regulations.
• Support the Engineering team through clear communication, teamwork, and compliance with Rosewood’s operational standards.

Candidate Profile

• Experience with maintenance of HVAC, mechanical, or building systems in hotels, resorts, or commercial settings.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities with a proactive maintenance approach.
• Familiarity with preventive maintenance schedules, building systems, and workplace safety practices.
• Organized, dependable, and skilled at managing multiple tasks while paying attention to detail.
• Comfortable operating maintenance management software and mobile communication tools.
• Fluent English communication skills and a collaborative team working style.
