Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced and highly customer-oriented Full Stack Engineer to join our development team in Abu Dhabi. In this role, you will be responsible for crafting and enhancing our business intelligence platform, working on both frontend and backend systems primarily with React technology. You will collaborate closely with Product Managers, Architects, and fellow Software Engineers to design, develop, and refine the annotation platform, a key component of Presight AI's Big Data analytics solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Translate design mock-ups and wireframes into appealing, robust front-end website architectures.
- Develop and maintain functional backend databases, applications, and server components supporting the websites.
- Optimize platform performance and responsiveness across multiple devices including mobile platforms.
- Create and maintain RESTful services and APIs.
- Continuously update and expand expertise in the latest web applications and programming technologies.
- Architect solutions with focus on security, scalability, usability, performance, maintainability, and reliability.
- Engage in ongoing learning through formal education, professional publications, and industry networks.
- Adhere to company policies covering Quality, Health, Safety and Environment (QHSE), business continuity, information security, privacy, compliance, risk management, and governance.
Performance Metrics
Success will be measured through cost reductions, alignment of data systems with architectural standards, compliance with policies and quality benchmarks, deployment of innovative proof-of-concepts, database efficiency, and customer satisfaction scores (NPS).
Required Qualifications and Experience
- A minimum of 4 years’ experience in full stack web development.
- At least 3 years of practical experience with React.js.
- Minimum 2 years of backend development experience using languages such as Java, Node.js, or Python.
- Strong foundation in computer science principles and algorithms.
- Proficiency in web fundamentals including HTML5, CSS3, and contemporary web standards.
- Expert level understanding of modern JavaScript and TypeScript.
- Experience in building single-page applications using React or similar component-based frameworks.
- Deep knowledge of state management strategies such as MobX or Redux.
- Expertise in browser media operations, including Canvas, Audio, and Video APIs.
- Familiarity with relational and NoSQL databases like MySQL and MongoDB.
- Strong comprehension of software design principles such as SOLID.
- Experience with designing RESTful APIs.
Additional Skills
- Familiarity with popular UI component libraries.
- Understanding of Machine Learning concepts and Large Language Models (LLM).
- Hands-on experience with DevOps practices including Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment (CI/CD).
- Knowledge of cloud infrastructure and reliability engineering.
