Job description
About the Role
We seek an experienced Endodontist to join our dental clinic located in Jaipur, Rajasthan. The candidate will be primarily responsible for diagnosing and treating diseases and injuries related to dental pulp as well as performing specialized root canal treatments and surgical procedures to address complex dental conditions.
Key Responsibilities
- Diagnose and treat various endodontic diseases and conditions.
- Conduct root canal treatments (RCT), retreatments, and other related endodontic procedures.
- Manage dental pain, infections, and pulp-related ailments effectively.
- Perform surgical procedures such as apicoectomy when indicated.
- Analyze and interpret X-rays, CBCT scans, and other diagnostic imaging for treatment planning.
- Maintain comprehensive and accurate patient records and treatment documentation.
- Communicate treatment plans, associated risks, procedures, and post-treatment care instructions clearly to patients.
- Collaborate with general dental practitioners and dental specialists for integrated patient care.
- Adhere to strict infection control protocols and sterilization standards to ensure patient safety.
- Maintain high standards of clinical ethics and patient care throughout treatments.
Qualifications and Skills
- Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS) from an accredited dental institution.
- Master of Dental Surgery (MDS) specialization in Conservative Dentistry & Endodontics is preferred or required.
- Registration with the relevant Dental Council is mandatory.
- Strong proficiency in clinical diagnosis and endodontic treatment execution.
- Effective communication and patient management skills.
- Experience with rotary and reciprocation techniques in root canal therapy.
- Familiarity with contemporary endodontic equipment and technologies.
- Capability to manage complex endodontic cases rigorously with attention to detail.
- Professionalism and ethical conduct with a patient-centered approach.
Compensation
The monthly salary ranges from INR 23,000 to INR 40,000, commensurate with experience and skills.
