Endodontics Registrar

Overview

The position entails serving as a Registrar within the Endodontics department, responsible for diagnosing and treating patient injuries or illnesses. The role includes patient examination, gathering medical histories, prescribing treatments, and managing diagnostic testing and interpretation. Additionally, candidates will counsel patients regarding diet, hygiene, and preventive healthcare tailored to individual cases.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform patient assessments and document clinical findings precisely.
• Develop and implement individualized care plans for patients.
• Provide patient education about their health status, necessary investigations, treatment options, and medication regimens.
• Advise patients on health promotion and strategies for disease prevention.
• Order and analyze diagnostic test results.
• Prescribe appropriate medications as required.
• Maintain detailed and accurate patient records in compliance with regulations.
• Adhere to institutional policies, bylaws, strategic goals, and care standards established by Nahdi Care Clinics and regulatory bodies like CBAHI.
• Participate in committees and task forces as appointed to improve clinic services.
• Establish collaborative relationships across departments, local agencies, vendors, patients, and families.
• Complete fire safety training and comply with departmental attendance and operational standards.
• Engage in ongoing quality improvement and program evaluation initiatives aligned with clinical and regulatory standards.
• Contribute to the professional development of junior staff members.
• Apply evidence-based practices and consider population factors such as heritage, environment, and disease trends in patient care.
• Lead and participate in continuing medical education events including rounds, lectures, conferences, and journal clubs.
• Execute specialty-specific clinical tasks in accordance with training, skill set, and Saudi health council guidelines.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by management based on business needs.

Work Conditions

• Indoors work environment exclusively.
• Six working days per week with one day off.
• Daily schedule includes 8 net working hours per shift as per departmental approval.

Educational and Professional Requirements

• Possession of a Bachelor's degree in Medicine and Surgery from an accredited university.
• Master's degree in a relevant specialty or Fellowship recognized by the Saudi Commission for Health Specialties (SCFHS).
• Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience post-Master’s degree or eligibility to undertake the specialty board examination.
• Current registration as a Registrar in the relevant specialty with SCFHS.
• Computer proficiency, particularly with office applications and health information systems.
• Fluency in spoken and written English and Arabic.
