About the Role
Join a global professional services firm as an Employee Relations Advisor on a 12-month fixed-term contract. This role involves collaborating with leaders to manage employee relations, fostering a positive and inclusive workplace culture while developing specialized expertise in employment legislation, workplace risk, and case management.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with organisational leaders to deliver effective employee relations advice across various workplace matters including performance management, probation, and fitness for work assessments.
- Assist Employee Relations Managers with complex cases involving investigations, restructures, disciplinary procedures, and risk mitigation strategies.
- Contribute to broader Employee Relations and Talent initiatives designed to enhance continuous improvement and the employee experience across the Oceania region.
Requirements and Skills
- Experience delivering employee relations support within HR Generalist, HR Advisor, or specialized Employee Relations roles.
- Comprehensive understanding of employment laws and the ability to implement pragmatic, business-focused solutions to workplace challenges.
- Demonstrated capability to build trusted relationships, influence diverse stakeholders, and handle multiple priorities effectively in a dynamic setting.
- Preferred experience of 2–3 years managing employee relations cases relating to performance, conduct, probation, or wellbeing.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving aptitude balancing employee welfare, business objectives, and risk considerations.
- Self-driven with enthusiasm for ongoing improvement, teamwork, and professional growth.
- Ability to operate independently while positively engaging within a collaborative team environment.
