About the Role
GF Electronics, Ludhiana is seeking an Embedded Systems Engineer to become a valuable part of our product development team focused on electronic weighing scales and industrial weighing solutions. This role offers hands-on involvement in end-to-end embedded product creation, progressing from early prototypes to finalized commercial products.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop firmware using Embedded C/C++ for microcontrollers including STM32, STM8, ESP32, and 8051 families.
- Interface and calibrate load-cells and analog-to-digital converters (ADCs) to ensure accurate measurements.
- Design and implement software for weight calibration, signal filtering, and stability enhancement.
- Integrate with various display modules such as 7-segment and LCD screens.
- Develop keypad input handling and memory functions using EEPROM and real-time clock (RTC) modules.
- Manage communication protocols including UART, RS232, RS485, I2C, and SPI for peripheral connectivity.
- Support printer and additional hardware integration.
- Perform thorough testing of PCBs and troubleshoot hardware issues.
- Contribute to firmware testing and the innovation of new features for weighing scale products.
Candidate Profile and Requirements
- A degree in B.Tech or BE in Electronics, Electronics & Communication Engineering (ECE), Electrical Engineering, Embedded Systems, or related disciplines.
- Experience level ranging from fresh graduates to professionals with up to 2 years of relevant experience.
- Strong foundation in electronics concepts and eagerness to acquire new skills.
- Preference given to candidates who have hands-on experience with microcontroller development projects involving STM32, ESP32, Arduino, 8051, or similar platforms.
- Practical project experience is highly valued alongside academic qualifications.

Compensation
