Job Overview

The role of the Electronics Technician involves providing operational and maintenance support for P-4 SAKITS pods used in the F15C/D Air Combat Maneuver & Instrumentation program for the Royal Saudi Air Force. This position requires working independently under the guidance of the Site Manager and coordination with Field Service Technicians.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain detailed logs tracking serial numbers, pod types, check-in/out times, and remarks for all P-4 SAKITS pods.
  • Keep daily updates on pod status and availability.
  • Record and analyze elapsed Time Meter readings monthly to determine pods' operational hours.
  • Operate and maintain the P-4 SAKITS Test Set following technical manuals.
  • Conduct Organizational-Level and Intermediate-Level maintenance tests and replace Shop Replaceable Assemblies on pods.
  • Assist with operation and upkeep of display equipment.
  • Perform computer operations such as program loading for tests, subsystem assessments, and pre-mission data management using Data Transfer Devices.
  • Maintain control logs for Data Transfer Device issuance and receipt from aircrews.
  • Operate graphic terminals during live exercises and provide support for display and control functions.
  • Technical assistance to RSAF and aircrew for replay and debriefing setups.
  • Maintain accurate records of mission tapes and mission event logs including date, time, mission details, remarks, and operator information.
  • Liaise directly with RSAF to evaluate mission sortie effectiveness.
  • Follow all company policies related to conduct, quality, security, occupational health, safety, and environmental procedures.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by management.
  • Support project equipment setup as necessary.
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure excellent customer service delivery.

Qualifications and Skills

  • College-level technical qualification or equivalent technical and military experience.
  • Previous professional experience in similar electronics technician roles.
  • Ability to adhere to company practices for field assignments.
  • Capacity to adapt within remote or foreign work settings.

Preferred Qualifications

  • English proficiency certification via TOEFL, STEP Test, or other KSA-recognized exams.
  • Engineering degree specializing in Electronics, Avionics, or Communication.
