About the Role

Join the WPS team as a skilled Electrician based in Croydon, serving Croydon and nearby regions. This role involves working within the Reactive Maintenance division on social housing contracts, providing expert maintenance and repair electrical services.

Primary Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive electrical testing and produce Electrical Installation Condition Reports (EICRs).
• Troubleshoot faults and perform necessary rectifications.
• Install fans, including operations such as core drilling when required.
• Replace and clean electrical accessories timely.
• Perform Portable Appliance Testing (PAT) on tools and appliances.
• Ensure a first-time fix approach while delivering excellent customer service.
• Operate safely adhering to Health & Safety and safeguarding policies.
• Work collaboratively with other trade professionals to complete repair tasks.
• Maintain accurate job records and track material use using PDA technology.

Requirements

• Hold a full NVQ Level 3 qualification in Electrical Installation.
• Possess Inspection & Testing certification such as 2391 or its equivalent.
• Be knowledgeable in the 18th Edition Wiring Regulations.
• Have a full UK driving licence.

Candidates Profile

We seek an experienced, confident Electrician capable of managing workload independently, undertaking small projects and repairs, preferably with background in housing maintenance. The candidate must be proactive, dependable, and committed to quality workmanship.
