Role Overview

We are seeking a skilled and service-focused Electrician to join the Engineering team responsible for electrical systems on the Four Seasons Resort and Residences AMAALA property. Reporting to the Engineering Manager, you will ensure the installation, maintenance, repair, and monitoring of electrical equipment meets the highest luxury standards. Your role is pivotal during the resort's pre-opening stage as well as during ongoing operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with inspection, testing, and commissioning of electrical systems and equipment during pre-opening.
• Review electrical drawings, schematics, and specifications to aid technical transitions and system readiness.
• Identify electrical defects, participate in snagging activities, and collaborate with contractors and consultants to finalize punch lists.
• Install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair wiring, switchboards, lighting, emergency systems, and guestroom electrical equipment.
• Conduct preventive maintenance on systems including distribution boards, uninterruptible power supplies, generators, elevators, fire alarms, and kitchen appliances.
• Respond promptly to electrical faults, guest requests, and urgent maintenance issues.
• Promote energy conservation and monitor electrical consumption to identify opportunities for efficiency improvements.
• Keep detailed records of maintenance activities, repairs, and parts replacements.
• Ensure adherence to local electrical codes, safety regulations, and Four Seasons’ policies.
• Support setting up the engineering workshop and managing electrical spare parts and equipment inventory.
• Participate in training on safety measures, fire life safety systems, and emergency response readiness.
• Provide assistance during emergencies or system failures to minimize impact on guests and operations.

Qualifications and Experience

• Diploma, certification, or vocational qualification in Electrical Engineering, Maintenance, or related technical discipline.
• Minimum of 3 years experience in electrical maintenance preferably within luxury hospitality, facilities management, or high-end residential environments.
• Comprehensive knowledge of electrical systems such as low voltage, emergency power, kitchen equipment, and energy management.
• Experience implementing preventive maintenance and diagnosing complex electrical problems.
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, engineering drawings, and schematics.
• Effective communication skills, strong teamwork orientation, and dedication to high-quality internal service.
• Proficiency in English required; knowledge of Arabic is advantageous.
