About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Perform electrical installations, maintenance, and repairs in compliance with the current 18th Edition Wiring Regulations, ensuring safety, professionalism, and consistently high-quality outcomes.
• Deliver exceptional customer service, guaranteeing a positive experience and compliance with all regulatory and quality standards.
• Work collaboratively with trade colleagues and office teams to provide an efficient electrical service, fostering a supportive and productive workplace atmosphere.

• Adhere to Health and Safety at Work legislation by taking responsibility for personal safety and the wellbeing of others affected by your work.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Formal technical certification in Electrical Installation.
• City & Guilds 236 Part 1 & 2 or equivalent NVQ Level 3 in electrical installation.
• Certification in City & Guilds 2381/2382 18th Edition Wiring Regulations.
• Understanding of applicable legislation and codes such as Construction, Building Regulations, and Health & Safety standards.
• Ability to effectively manage work plans and meet deadlines, even under pressure.
• Practical expertise in electrical, construction, and maintenance work.
• Capability to establish and maintain positive relationships at all organizational levels, both internally and externally.
• Experience conducting electrical repair work in occupied residential buildings.
• Competence in correctly isolating and verifying isolation before engaging on electrical circuits.
• Hands-on experience with various types of cable installations and cable management.
• Possession of a full UK driving license.
• Ownership of a comprehensive set of electrical tools, including cordless power and VDE hand tools.

Preferred but Not Necessary

• Familiarity with door entry systems, CCTV, fire alarms, and gate systems.
