Role Overview

We are seeking a certified Electrician to join our Pre-Delivery Inspection (PDI) team. This hands-on position involves preparing new Komatsu machinery for customers by performing electrical assembly tasks, installing customer-specific features, and ensuring each unit meets our stringent quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform electrical installation and assembly work on new machinery.
• Fit customer-requested options and accessories to machines.
• Conduct equipment testing and identify electrical faults for resolution.
• Adhere to detailed installation instructions and Safe Work Procedures consistently.
• Ensure all work complies with production schedules while maintaining high quality standards.
• Contribute ideas to enhance work processes and efficiency.
• Collaborate closely with Leading Hands, Team Leads, and Planners to keep build timelines on track.
• Accurately complete and submit all job-related documentation in a timely manner.

Working Hours and Schedule

The position operates Monday through Friday from 6:30 AM to 3:00 PM, with opportunities for overtime and potential afternoon shifts.

Compensation

Hourly pay ranges from $46.61 to $54.86, based on experience.

Qualifications and Skills

• Possession of a valid Electrical Trade Qualification.
• Current full driver's license.
• Strong electrical troubleshooting skills with keen attention to fault diagnosis.
• Good communication capabilities and ability to work collaboratively.
• Basic computer literacy.
• Experience with utility, construction, or mining machinery is preferred but not essential; transferable skills from other electrical work are valued.
• Willingness to acquire additional licenses such as Forklift or Overhead Gantry operation, if necessary.
• Commitment to undergoing pre-employment medical screening and periodic drug testing.
