Role Summary

As an Electrician at MGallery, you ensure the hotel runs safely and smoothly, maintaining a comfortable environment for guests and employees by applying your technical knowledge and proactive mindset.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct electrical installations, inspections, maintenance, and repairs throughout the hotel premises.
• Identify and resolve issues with electrical systems, equipment, lighting, and appliances.
• Implement preventative maintenance to guarantee safety and efficiency of electrical systems.
• React swiftly to electrical failures and maintenance requests.
• Ensure compliance with hotel protocols, safety standards, and regional regulations in all electrical tasks.
• Inspect electrical devices to detect faults, hazards, or necessary repairs.
• Keep detailed records of maintenance work and completed orders.
• Collaborate with the engineering team and other hotel departments to reduce operational disruptions.
• Maintain cleanliness and safety of tools, equipment, and workspace.
• Assist in emergency responses and fulfill other engineering duties as required.
• Support a secure, comfortable, and well-maintained environment for guests and staff.

Qualifications and Skills

• Possess a technical certification or diploma in Electrical Engineering or related discipline.
• Experience working as an electrician, ideally in hotels, resorts, or commercial settings.
• Strong understanding of electrical systems, equipment, and safety protocols.
• Proficient in troubleshooting and solving electrical issues.
• Capable of working both independently and as part of a team.
• Effective communicator with a proactive work ethic.
• Detail-oriented with a strong commitment to safety standards.
• Willing to work flexible hours including shifts, weekends, and public holidays.

Alwadi Doha – MGallery Hotel Collection is a luxurious 5-star boutique hotel located in Msheireb Downtown Doha, a dynamic area with retail, commercial, and residential developments.
