About the Role

This role involves ensuring the dependable and safe functionality of electrical and control systems through maintenance and troubleshooting within a food production setting.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform preventive, corrective, and scheduled maintenance to guarantee safe, reliable, and efficient electrical and control system operations.
- Troubleshoot and repair electrical components, including power circuits, control circuits, motors, automation systems, and other production equipment.
- Respond promptly to electrical breakdowns, identify root causes, and implement measures to reduce downtime and enhance equipment performance.
- Inspect equipment to determine maintenance requirements and assist with overhaul, preventive maintenance, and spare parts planning.
- Document equipment issues, maintenance activities, and work orders precisely in SAP.
- Collaborate with Production, Maintenance, suppliers, and Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs) on technical problems, repairs, and continuous improvement projects.
- Contribute to improvement initiatives using Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and help resolve recurring technical problems.
- Adhere strictly to HSE, food safety, HACCP, GMP, 5S, Food Defense, and company safety standards during all maintenance activities.
Candidate Profile
- Possess a diploma of at least two years in Electrical Technology, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
- Have 2 to 3 years of practical experience in electrical and control maintenance, preferably within the Food/FMCG sector.
- Demonstrate strong knowledge and hands-on experience with electrical controls, power and control circuits, motors, and automation systems.
- Be able to read and interpret electrical and engineering drawings, including P&IDs and relevant technical diagrams; knowledgeable about electrical codes and standards.
- Familiar with high voltage (HV) and low voltage (LV) systems, food manufacturing, and safety practices; experience with SAP, MS Office, RCA, PDCA, and 5S methodologies is a plus.
- Possess business-level proficiency in English.
- Currently located in or willing to relocate to Jeddah, with flexibility to commute to the factory site.
