Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Electrical Installation and Commissioning Engineer to join our team at Cascades Data Solutions India, operating as Infomatics India Private Limited, in Bengaluru. The role involves installing, testing, and commissioning complex electrical systems including control panels, HMI interfaces, variable frequency drives (VFDs), and programmable logic controllers (PLCs).
Key Responsibilities
- Perform electrical installations and commissioning of control systems, ensuring all components such as panels, HMIs, VFDs, and PLCs function correctly.
- Carry out comprehensive site assessments to determine installation needs and develop intricate designs tailored to those requirements.
- Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to facilitate efficient project delivery and align outputs with client expectations.
- Diagnose and resolve technical issues that arise during the commissioning phases to minimize downtime and maintain project schedules.
Job Requirements
- Possess 3 to 4 years of hands-on experience in electrical installation and commissioning or related roles.
- Demonstrated excellence in using EPLAN software for the creation of control panel designs and wiring schematics.
- In-depth knowledge of Building Information Modeling (BIM) principles to ensure precision in system integration.
- Familiarity with industrial networking protocols such as Modbus RTU/TCP, Profibus/Profinet, and Devicenet vital for communication between devices.
