About the Role
Joining Linesight as an Electrical Estimator involves becoming part of a diverse, passionate team that values strong interpersonal connections and collective accomplishments. Key Responsibilities
- Assess contractor bids to ensure optimal value for the client.
- Develop detailed estimates and cost plans for major client projects.
- Review project scopes and cost plans to identify and address discrepancies.
- Maintain an up-to-date repository of local rate data for use in estimating activities.
- Manage project budgets effectively through cost reviews, value engineering, and precise estimation techniques to maximize client benefits.
- Offer expertise and leadership in estimating throughout project design and building phases.
- Establish and nurture trustworthy relationships with internal and external stakeholders including contractors and consultants.
- Facilitate efficient project direction and decision-making by providing thorough cost documentation and timely communications.
Candidate Profile
- Experience with increasing responsibility in electrical scope estimation within construction settings.
- Strong analytical abilities to decipher complex technical information.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to thrive and collaborate within supportive team environments.
- Comfortable prioritizing tasks and meeting deadlines in dynamic situations.
- Enjoy cultivating open, purposeful, and enjoyable work relationships.
Additional Information
Interviews will be held either face-to-face or virtually with video participation required. The salary for this role ranges from 82,000 to 130,000 CAD annually, contingent upon qualifications and experience levels.
