Electrical Engineer - Power Electronics

About the Role

We are seeking a proactive Electrical Engineer with experience in power electronics to join our team specializing in induction heating commercial cooking equipment in Chennai. Applicants should have 1 to 2 years of relevant experience, and qualifications including Diploma, B.E., or B.Tech in Electrical, EEE, or ECE fields.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform wiring of control panels, electrical assembly, cable termination, and conduct testing procedures.
• Assemble and integrate systems involving induction heating controls, coils, sensors, and cooling components.
• Test equipment and establish optimal operating parameters.
• Diagnose and resolve issues related to electrical systems, power electronics, and control mechanisms.
• Manage installation and commissioning of new machines at client locations.
• Respond to on-site service calls and troubleshoot technical problems.
• Conduct electrical measurements and basic fault diagnostics employing appropriate instruments.
• Interpret electrical wiring diagrams and circuit schematics accurately.

Required Skills and Knowledge

• Strong understanding of electrical systems and panel wiring procedures.
• Fundamental knowledge of power electronics such as IGBT, SMPS, sensors, and control circuits.
• Practical experience with industrial or automation equipment commissioning is desirable.
• Familiarity with PLC/HMI technologies and RS485 communication is advantageous.
• Willingness to undertake travel to customer locations as required.

Compensation

The monthly salary ranges between 15,000 and 25,000 INR.
