Electrical Engineer

Job Overview

We are seeking a seasoned Electrical Engineer to oversee and execute electrical projects effectively. This position demands supervision on-site, coordination across teams, and adherence to safety and technical standards to ensure projects meet quality and timeline expectations.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage electrical operations at various project locations.
• Plan and orchestrate the execution of electrical projects from start to finish.
• Supervise installation, testing, and commissioning procedures.
• Interpret technical documents including electrical blueprints, single line diagrams (SLDs), and layout plans.
• Liaise between clients, contractors, consultants, vendors, and onsite personnel.
• Track project milestones, quality control, and material availability.
• Confirm that electrical work aligns with approved specifications and designs.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical challenges encountered on site.
• Prepare detailed site documentation such as reports, measurements, and checklists.
• Ensure compliance with safety protocols and electrical codes.
• Manage material logistics to guarantee timely delivery to sites.
• Conduct inspections to verify proper testing and commissioning.
• Communicate project updates and technical issues to the management team.
• Handle multiple site responsibilities as necessary.

Candidate Requirements

• Diploma or degree in Electrical Engineering (B.E./B.Tech).
• At least 10 years of experience in electrical project management or site work.
• Expertise in electrical installations and project delivery processes.
• Proficient in reading and understanding complex electrical drawings and specifications.
• Strong skills in site supervision and team coordination.
• Effective communication and problem-solving capabilities.
• Ability to work collaboratively with project stakeholders including clients and contractors.
• Availability for travel to project sites as needed.
• Leadership qualities and a responsible approach to project handling.

Compensation and Location

The position offers a monthly salary ranging from ₹35,000 to ₹45,000, depending on experience and fit. The base location is the Zirakpur office, with regular visits to project sites as required.
