Job description
Overview
We are looking for a seasoned Electrical Engineer with at least seven years of practical experience. The role involves designing, developing, and managing electrical systems across construction, industrial, or infrastructure ventures. The selected candidate will ensure that all technical specifications, safety protocols, timelines, and quality standards are met.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, examine, and oversee electrical systems, including power distribution, lighting, low-current, and control systems.
- Create electrical plans, technical specifications, and comprehensive project documents.
- Collaborate with consultants, contractors, and multidisciplinary engineering teams to facilitate smooth project completion.
- Supervise project implementation ensuring compliance with approved designs, codes, and applicable standards.
- Carry out on-site inspections and provide expert guidance through installation, testing, and commissioning stages.
- Review contractor documents such as submittals, shop drawings, material requests, and proposals.
- Identify and address technical challenges by delivering practical engineering solutions.
- Uphold health, safety, and environmental legislation at all times.
- Compile progress reports and suggest enhancements to project execution.
- Assist in project scheduling, budgeting, and cost management efforts.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering.
- At least 7 years of pertinent electrical engineering experience.
- Professional certifications are a plus.
- Comprehensive understanding of electrical design codes, regulations, and industry standards.
- Proficient with engineering software such as AutoCAD, ETAP, Revit, or similar tools.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication capabilities.
- Capability to handle multiple assignments and perform efficiently under pressure.
