Electrical Engineer

About the Role

Candidzone is looking for a seasoned Electrical Engineer to join a consultancy project based in Doha, Qatar. The candidate should possess comprehensive expertise in electrical engineering, hold a relevant bachelor’s degree, and have a UPDA Grade B certification. Experience within consultancy settings is essential.

Primary Responsibilities

• Examine and supervise electrical works to ensure alignment with approved drawings and specifications.
• Guarantee adherence to all project criteria, including codes and standards.
• Collaborate effectively with consultants, contractors, and multidisciplinary teams.
• Conduct inspections of electrical installations, recognizing any deviations or non-compliances.
• Evaluate technical submissions, shop drawings, and material selections.
• Draft inspection reports and maintain accurate project documentation.
• Facilitate quality assurance and enforce technical compliance throughout the project lifecycle.

Requirements

• Possess a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering.
• Have over 10 years of pertinent professional experience.
• Demonstrated background in consultancy roles.
• Valid UPDA Grade B certification is mandatory.
• Strong understanding of electrical systems, construction norms, and documentation processes.
• Excellent skills in coordination and communication.
