The Singapore office is looking for a seasoned Electrical Engineer to lead projects and contribute to a variety of innovative designs.

Job Responsibilities

• Manage and lead small to medium-sized projects in electrical engineering design and coordination.
• Research and develop control applications, instrumentation, and system operations for building engineering services.
• Conduct on-site surveys, inspections, and testing of existing electrical and mechanical installations and prepare detailed reports.
• Define requirements ensuring manufacturing, construction, installation, and operational testing align with functional specifications and client needs.
• Represent the company in technical meetings with clients, professional consultants, and contractors.
• Draft and amend technical specifications using documentation tools such as Word and Excel.
• Ensure engineering calculations and technical drawings uphold rigorous industry standards and legal compliance.
• Review and validate design inputs provided by Intermediate and Graduate Engineers.

Candidate Profile and Qualifications

• Licensed engineer or degree qualified with relevant experience in international consulting engineering.
• Currently pursuing or already attained professional status such as MCIBSE, MIEE, Chartered Engineer, or an equivalent qualification.
• Proven experience designing and preparing drawings for at least one building type sector.
• Comprehensive knowledge of health and safety legislation relevant to building services engineering.
• Proficient in MS Office applications, especially Excel.
• Skilled in using IT tools for engineering calculations and spreadsheet management.
• Sound understanding of British Standards, Singapore Standards, and international design codes.
• Strong organizational skills to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and act ethically following professional codes of conduct.

Additional Information

Ideal candidates have experience in industrial projects such as semiconductor plants, cleanrooms, brownfield retrofitting, and data centres, with further exposure to commercial, hotel, and retail sectors considered beneficial. The role demands a client-facing attitude, excellent interpersonal and communication skills, and the ability to drive client relationships within diverse sectors.
