Job Responsibilities

• Manage comprehensive technical reviews and conformity assessments for products in Telecom, Wireless, IoT, Electrical, and Electronics domains.
• Evaluate technical documentation including technical files, test reports, product labels, declarations, and certification records to ensure regulatory compliance and completeness.
• Coordinate certification processes and approvals aligned with relevant GCC and Middle Eastern regulatory frameworks and client needs.
• Engage and communicate with clients, laboratories, SGS regional teams, and certification authorities to facilitate prompt and consistent project execution.
• Provide expert technical interpretations, conduct regulatory analyses, and carry out meticulous documentation assessments.
• Apply knowledge of conformity schemes, certification pathways, and market entry requisites for telecom, wireless, and electrical/electronics products.
• Analyze technical proof, detect documentation deficiencies, and manage corrective actions collaboratively with clients and testing laboratories.
• Demonstrate effective coordination, thorough reporting, and follow-up among regional teams, certification bodies, and internal stakeholders.

Qualifications & Experience

• A degree in Electrical, Electronics, Telecommunication, Communication Engineering, or a closely related technical field.
• Previous experience or exposure to product compliance, conformity assessment, regulatory certifications, or technical documentation review preferred.
• Strong analytical skills with keen attention to detail to interpret standards, test data, and certification requirements.
• Effective written and oral communication capabilities for engaging clients, laboratory coordination, and internal reporting.
• Two to four years of professional experience related to product compliance, conformity assessments, certification support, or technical documentation evaluation.
• Familiarity with telecom, wireless, IoT, electrical/electronics product sectors and related GCC/Middle East approval procedures.
• Understanding of specific schemes such as type approvals, G-Mark, ECAS, SABER, IECEE, RoHS, or energy efficiency initiatives is advantageous.
• Capability to review compliance documents, identify gaps, manage client and laboratory communications, ensuring timely certification submission.
