Job Overview
This role involves managing the upkeep and repair of electrical and electronic systems in factory machinery to ensure seamless production processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct maintenance for electrical and electronic components of factory equipment.
- Diagnose and fix faults related to electrical and electronic systems.
- Oversee upkeep of motors, control panels, sensors, variable frequency drives (VFDs), programmable logic controllers (PLCs), and related electrical devices.
- Carry out preventive maintenance tasks to avoid equipment failures.
- Promptly address machinery breakdowns to minimize downtime.
- Inspect electrical wiring, connections, switches, and safety devices regularly.
- Verify proper earthing and adherence to electrical safety norms.
- Support installation, setup, and commissioning of new machinery.
- Record daily maintenance activities and document breakdown incidents.
- Compile lists of required electrical and electronic spare parts for procurement.
- Collaborate with the maintenance team to ensure timely machine repairs and servicing.
- Work towards maintaining continuous and efficient functioning of production machines.
