Job description
Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced Electrical and Instrumentation Technician to join our team in Qatar. The ideal candidate should have 3 to 5 years of hands-on experience within the Oil and Gas sector, specializing in electrical and instrumentation systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out installation, upkeep, troubleshooting, and repair of electrical and instrumentation components.
- Handle various electrical devices, control panels, field instruments, transmitters, sensors, and control valves.
- Interpret electrical schematics, piping and instrumentation diagrams (P&IDs), wiring layouts, and loop diagrams to support maintenance and repair tasks.
Qualifications and Requirements
- Minimum of 3 to 5 years’ experience as an Electrical & Instrumentation Technician in the Oil & Gas industry.
- Strong understanding of PTW (Permit to Work), LOTO (Lockout Tagout), and comprehensive knowledge of Oil & Gas Health, Safety, and Environment standards.
- Current residence in Qatar with valid QID and transferable or eligible sponsorship status.
- Ability to commence work according to project timelines.
Working Conditions and Benefits
