Join our welcoming new Eden Academy location in Ellen Grove, a child-safe environment dedicated to the protection, wellbeing, and empowerment of children. We foster a culture that honors our educators with genuine support, believing that happy and supported educators help children flourish. Our center accommodates 85 children and operates from 6:30 am to 6:30 pm, featuring natural play areas, bright open-plan rooms, and a wealth of age-appropriate learning materials.

Role Overview

As an Educator, you will nurture children through playful learning and create engaging spaces that stimulate curiosity and wonder. You will bring kindness, creativity, and positivity daily, build strong relationships with families, and work collaboratively with your team to inspire a lifelong love of learning in our little learners.

Responsibilities

• Foster child development with playful and meaningful learning experiences
• Design and maintain inviting environments that spark exploration and creativity
• Demonstrate kindness, creativity, and a proactive attitude every day
• Effectively communicate and cultivate trusting relationships with families
• Collaborate positively within teams to enrich the learning atmosphere
• Encourage and instill enduring enthusiasm for learning in children

Requirements

• Possess a Certificate III or Diploma in Early Childhood Education, or an ACECQA-recognised equivalent
• Hold a current Working with Children Check
• Have full Australian employment rights
• Exhibit a warm, professional demeanor with a passionate interest in early childhood education
• Confidently engage with children, families, and the community
• Provide two professional references, including one manager or supervisor from a childcare or educational role
