Education Quality and MEAL Advisor

This is a home-based position open to candidates located in Latin America, Africa, MEER, and Asia Pacific regions, with consideration for other countries where World Vision International is registered.

Primary Responsibilities

• Lead quality assurance and Monitoring, Evaluation, Accountability, and Learning (MEAL) initiatives specifically for the Education Child Results Area.
• Guide the development, implementation, and evaluation of global education indicators, tools, and reporting frameworks.
• Ensure the accuracy, completeness, and timeliness of education data in alignment with organizational standards.
• Coordinate with external partners regarding M&E tools including Tangerine.
• Manage and support the Measuring Education Quality Achieved (MEQA) digital platform operations, including staff training and troubleshooting.
• Collaborate with technical experts to build digital education observation tools and design Power BI dashboards to enhance data visualization and decision-making.
• Partner with Digital Solutions teams to explore integration of AI-driven tools.
• Provide technical assistance to platform users and contribute to system documentation and continual improvements.
• Work with cross-functional teams to bolster evidence generation, synthesis, and usage to inform program improvements.
• Lead the development of annual education reports, case studies, and shareable knowledge products.
• Facilitate the M&E Education community of practice and support capacity building on data quality, interpretation, and dashboard usage.
• Develop and maintain dashboards, visualizations, and data summaries that inform stakeholders at project, national, and regional levels.
• Conduct routine data analysis to identify trends, anomalies, implementation gaps, and provide actionable insights.

Qualifications and Experience

• Master’s degree in Education, Social Sciences, Digital Monitoring Systems, or a related field.
• Minimum five years of professional experience in education M&E, quality assurance, or digital data system management.
• Proficiency in managing backend digital data systems and analytics tools such as Power BI, Excel, and KOBO.
• Track record of producing analytical briefs, dashboard narratives, and data quality assessments for diverse audiences.
• Excellent analytical thinking, communication, and facilitation capabilities.
• Ability to quickly adapt to new digital platforms and MEAL methodologies.
• Preferred: Experience in the education sector, collaborative multi-team work, facilitation skills, knowledge of global education trends, and use of technology for program quality enhancement.

Language and Travel Requirements

• Fluent spoken and written English is mandatory. Additional language skills in French, Spanish, Arabic, or Portuguese are a plus.
• Willingness and ability to travel nationally and internationally up to 30% of the time.
