About the Role
This position involves guiding both students and professionals by providing detailed insights into various courses and career paths. The counsellor will engage deeply with individuals to comprehend their qualifications, interests, and professional aspirations to recommend fitting educational opportunities.
Key Duties
- Advise students and professionals about course options and career trajectories.
- Assess individual requirements and objectives to recommend appropriate courses.
- Communicate course specifics including syllabus, duration, fees, schedules, teaching methods, and prospective career benefits.
- Address enquiries via walk-ins, telephone, messaging apps, and internet channels.
- Maintain consistent follow-up with potential students and foster ongoing communication.
- Convert prospective leads into confirmed admissions.
- Keep detailed records of students and enquiries using CRM software or spreadsheets.
- Collaborate with trainers and branch staff to manage batches and meet student needs.
- Professionally resolve doubts and questions from students and parents.
- Meet or exceed counselling and admission targets set by the organisation.
- Develop and sustain positive rapport with students during the entire admission procedure.
- Take part in marketing efforts, including seminars, workshops and admissions campaigns.
Skills & Qualifications
- Excellent ability to persuade and counsel prospective students.
- Capability to accurately interpret student requirements to match suitable courses.
- Proficient in Hindi with basic to intermediate English communication skills.
- Effective in persistent follow-up calls and engagement.
- Familiarity with basic MS Office applications, Excel, and customer relationship management tools.
- A proactive, goal-driven mindset with a positive attitude.
- Strong skills in negotiation and building interpersonal connections.
- Comfortable working autonomously and collaboratively within a team.
Salary and Benefits
The remuneration ranges from 15000 to 27000 INR each month.
