About the Role

We are looking for an Editorial Reviewer specializing in Script Quality Control to join our team at Pocket FM. This role involves critically evaluating story scripts to enhance plot coherence, character development, dialogue authenticity, emotional impact, pacing, and overall engagement, ensuring the content captivates the audience effectively.

Key Responsibilities

• Identify and rectify plot inconsistencies and continuity errors prior to episode completion.
• Enhance dialogue and narration to sound natural and compelling.
• Monitor pacing and story flow to maintain audience interest.
• Collaborate on refining scripts to elevate binge-worthy quality.
• Leverage AI-assisted localization tools to detect and correct awkward phrasing, mistranslations, and AI-generated inaccuracies while preserving the story’s original emotion and intent.

Requirements

• Preferred educational background in Mass Communication or Journalism.
• Experience in scriptwriting, fiction, creative writing, or storytelling.
• Excellent proficiency in the English language.
• Competency in reviewing and improving dialogue, narration, pacing, and narrative continuity.
• Comfortable working with AI-generated content and related tools.
• Proficient in Google Docs and Google Sheets for document management and collaboration.
• Ability to combine creative input with meticulous attention to detail.
