Key Responsibilities

• Critically review and edit manuscripts to enhance clarity, coherence, and readability while preserving the authors' intended messages.
• Verify the accuracy and consistency of subject-specific terminology and conventions, ensuring scientific arguments are appropriate for the intended readership.
• Refine the presentation of complex research outcomes to improve communication and readiness for publication.
• Ensure final texts adhere to high academic writing standards, eliminating unclear or unidiomatic sentences, and formatting manuscripts according to target journal requirements when necessary.

Qualifications and Requirements

• PhD degree in Nuclear Medicine or Medical Physics is mandatory.
• Proven publication record featuring 5 to 10 or more first-author papers.
• Experience in peer reviewing scientific work.
• Competency to critically evaluate study designs, methodologies, statistics, and interpretation of results.
• Strong ability to assess scientific content with discipline-specific accuracy.
• Excellent written English skills and keen attention to detail.
• Previous involvement in scientific editing or academic publishing is advantageous.
