Role Overview

TechPulse MEA is seeking a full-time Editor based in Dubai, offering a hybrid work setup with opportunities for remote work. The Editor will be responsible for managing the full editorial cycle, from content planning and commissioning articles to detailed editing and proofreading, ensuring adherence to brand and editorial standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and manage content calendars ensuring timely delivery.
• Commission, review, and refine articles to maintain quality and consistency.
• Edit and proofread content to meet strategic objectives and brand voice.
• Collaborate closely with writers, marketing teams, and clients to synchronize messaging.
• Stay updated on technology and business trends across the Middle East and Africa.
• Propose innovative content ideas and help improve editorial workflows for better efficiency and output quality.

Qualifications and Skills

• Proficient copyediting, proofreading, and content structuring skills specialized in digital media.
• Experience in designing and implementing content strategies that enhance brand recognition and engage audiences.
• Strong collaborative skills working across cross-functional teams including writers and designers.
• Excellent command of English, both written and spoken.
• Good understanding of the tech and business landscapes in MENA region with keen interest in industry developments.
• Ability to function effectively in a hybrid work setup combining onsite and remote engagements.
• Exceptional organizational skills with capability to juggle multiple deadlines efficiently.
• Educational background in Journalism, Communications, Media, or equivalent practical experience is required.
• Previous editorial experience within media houses, publishing, or content agencies is advantageous.
