Key Responsibilities

• Evaluate and refine scientific manuscripts to enhance clarity, coherence, and readability while maintaining author intent.
• Validate subject-specific terminology, conventions, and scientific reasoning for accuracy and audience appropriateness.
• Improve the communication of complex research findings to prepare them for publication.
• Edit manuscripts to meet high academic writing standards, ensuring texts are precise, logical, and idiomatic. Format documents according to journal requirements when necessary.

Required Qualifications

• Doctoral degree in Biomedical Informatics, Health Informatics, or Bioinformatics (mandatory).
• Proven publication record including 5–10 or more first-author articles (mandatory).
• Experience in peer review of academic works.
• Capability to critically appraise study design, methodology, statistical analyses, and interpretation.
• Strong expertise in evaluating scientific content for discipline-specific correctness.
• Excellent command of written English with meticulous attention to detail.
• Previous involvement in scientific editing or academic publishing is an advantage.
