Job description
Role and Responsibilities
- Conduct various echocardiographic tests including 2D, Doppler, and color-flow echocardiograms, as well as support doctors during stress echocardiograms and transesophageal echocardiograms (TEEs).
- Manage patient care by preparing and positioning patients properly, explaining procedures to alleviate concerns, and monitoring vital signs throughout the process.
- Evaluate initial echocardiogram images for quality and clarity, and compile preliminary summaries or reports to assist cardiologists.
- Maintain and care for ultrasound equipment by cleaning, sterilizing, and calibrating devices to ensure accurate results and patient safety.
- Update electronic medical records meticulously, documenting exam details while upholding strict confidentiality standards.
Preferred Candidate Profile
Applicants should possess at least two years of pertinent experience and hold either a graduate degree or a diploma in any specialization.
