Job description
Job Overview
We are seeking a dependable Early Morning Van Driver based in Inverness, Scotland. This full-time role requires working four days per week from Friday to Monday, starting at 2:00 AM, with the possibility of additional shifts.
Compensation and Schedule
- Hourly pay rate of £14.40
- Guaranteed minimum of 8 hours pay per shift
- Weekly salary payment
- Extra shifts available upon request
Responsibilities
- Begin shifts early at 2:00 AM on Friday through Monday
- Load and unload various goods from vans
- Complete delivery-related paperwork using handheld devices
- Conduct daily vehicle inspections and report any defects
- Perform manual handling tasks as needed
- Carry out both local and long-distance deliveries
Requirements
- Possession of a valid UK Category B Driving Licence
- No more than six penalty points on the licence, excluding DR, IN, or TT codes
- Familiarity with the local area is preferred but not mandatory
