Role Overview

The Early Morning Bread Baker plays a crucial role as the creator of the renowned Greenville Swamp Stecca. This position involves mixing, proofing, cutting, and baking large quantities of Stecca daily for customers who visit the store, enjoy cafe sandwiches, or purchase through wholesale channels.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and produce Swamp baked goods by baking, mixing, scaling, and portioning recipes while adhering to specified weight standards.
• Follow daily production checklists to bake a wide range of unique items.
• Utilize industry-standard equipment to mix, roll, and proof dough.
• Maintain proper timing and temperature to guarantee consistent quality in every bake.
• Sort, assemble, and package pastries for cafe use, retail sales, catering, and wholesale orders.
• Apply finishing touches on baked goods before packaging for sale.

Requirements

• Minimum age of 18 years.
• Availability for early morning shifts, typically from 3:00 am to 11:00 am, including weekends.
• Passion for local food and enthusiasm for sharing its story.

• Strong interpersonal skills with a customer-focused attitude.

Compensation and Benefits
