Job description
About the Role
We are seeking a dedicated E-Commerce Dispatch Manager to oversee and synchronize daily order dispatch activities within our automobile spare parts e-commerce operations. This position acts as a critical link between the Inventory, Packing, and Logistics departments to guarantee that orders are managed efficiently from placement through delivery.
Detailed Responsibilities
- Supervise and manage the packing team to ensure efficient operation.
- Coordinate inter-departmentally with the Inventory and Logistics teams for seamless workflow.
- Ensure strict adherence to the FIFO (First In, First Out) method for order processing.
- Monitor outstanding orders rigorously to avoid unnecessary delays.
- Oversee all processes related to inventory assembly, packing, and generation of dispatch labels.
- Ensure timely handover of packed orders to logistics personnel.
- Identify obstacles in the dispatch process promptly and implement quick resolutions.
- Track and analyze daily dispatch performance and pending orders regularly.
- Maintain accuracy in packing and compliance with company Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
- Promote team productivity and ensure workplace discipline is sustained.
Candidate Requirements
- Prior experience in e-commerce, warehousing, dispatch, or operations management is preferred.
- Effective communication skills combined with strong team leadership abilities.
- Excellent follow-up and coordination capabilities.
- Possess a proactive ownership mindset, focused on accomplishing tasks rather than solely giving directions.
Performance Expectations
The manager will be assessed based on the speed and accuracy of moving orders through each stage—from inventory, packing, logistics, to dispatch—with a minimized backlog and strict FIFO adherence.
