Position Overview

Classic Cleaners, a reputable dry cleaning company in Indianapolis, seeks a reliable and meticulous Dry Cleaning Team Member to become part of its production unit. This role focuses on processing clothing and household textiles from beginning to end while upholding exceptional standards of quality, precision, efficiency, and customer satisfaction.

Core Responsibilities

• Sort, examine, and clean garments and textiles thoroughly.
• Detect stains, damages, or items needing specialized treatment.
• Safely operate dry cleaning and laundry machinery following established protocols.
• Tag, scan, monitor, and coordinate customer orders across the production workflow.
• Accurately fold, bag, pack, and prepare completed orders for delivery.
• Assist with finishing touches including button replacement, lint removal, brushing, and de-pilling.
• Help find missing items and address any order inconsistencies.
• Keep the work area tidy, organized, and safe.
• Collaborate with the production team to reach daily targets for quality and output.

Candidate Requirements

• Excellent attention to detail and dedication to maintaining high-quality results.
• Capacity to comprehend and carry out both written and verbal instructions accurately.
• Reliable team player possessing strong communication abilities.
• Ability to perform efficiently within a fast-paced production setting.
• Physical capability to stand and be mobile throughout shifts and to lift or carry items up to 50 pounds.
• Readiness to work under various temperature conditions and typical dry-cleaning production environments.
