Job Overview

We are seeking a committed team member to perform various driving-related tasks including the collection and transport of waste, laundry, supplies, and medical specimens within South Yorkshire, North Derbyshire, and Lincolnshire. The role also supports COVID-related patient services.

Key Responsibilities

• Collect waste carts from multiple hospital sites and manage their segregation and cleaning process.
• Transport sacks of dirty linen to laundry facilities and deliver clean linen back to designated areas.
• Deliver and collect stores, supplies, mail, medical samples, drugs including isotopes, and hospital equipment between hospital sites and local doctors' surgeries or clinics.
• Operate the hospital courtesy bus when needed, providing transport for staff, patients, and visitors.
• Handle the delivery and collection of medical notes and small furniture items both on and off site.
• Collect cages and transport them to approved collection points.

Candidate Requirements

• Good communication skills and ability to work independently to deliver high levels of customer service.
• Relevant experience with commercial vehicle driving and delivery duties.
• Possess a full, clean driving licence. Licences issued after 01/01/1997 must include categories B+E, C1, and D1 in addition to a standard licence.
• Minimum educational qualification of GCSE grade 3/D or equivalent.
