About the Role
The Driver position is based at the Desert Islands Resort & Spa by Anantara, a luxury hotel brand inspired by Thai culture and dedicated to authentic hospitality. This role requires transporting guests, team members, and management safely, efficiently, and professionally within the UAE, specifically in a remote resort setting.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide safe transportation for team members, guests, and company staff as assigned.
- Operate company vehicles according to UAE traffic laws and safety regulations.
- Perform routine inspections of vehicles and report maintenance or safety concerns promptly.
- Maintain the cleanliness and good working condition of assigned vehicles.
- Assist with various transportation needs including staff conveyance, airport transfers, and city trips.
- Keep precise records of trips taken, fuel consumption, and vehicle activity.
- Ensure punctual pick-up and drop-off according to schedules.
- Adapt to work in a remote resort environment and meet operational demands.
- Abide by company policies, safety protocols, and maintain a professional demeanor at all times.
Qualifications & Experience
- Must hold a valid UAE driving license.
- Prior experience as a driver, preferably in a hotel or resort environment.
- Experience working remotely is advantageous.
- Sound knowledge of UAE roads and traffic laws.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Dependable, punctual, and committed to safety.
- Willingness to work flexible schedules including weekends and public holidays.
- Readiness to live and work at a remote resort location.
