Job description

Job Overview

We are recruiting for a full-time permanent HR Driver to be based at our Bathurst depot, responsible for delivering essential waste management services across the surrounding area. The position involves operating various collection vehicles, ensuring safety compliance, and providing excellent customer service.

Key Responsibilities

  • Operate collection vehicles safely, including rear lift, hook lift, and front lift truck systems
  • Conduct daily maintenance inspections and safety checks on vehicles and equipment when needed
  • Maintain a professional company image and consistently deliver high-quality customer service
  • Adhere to company systems and standards when interacting with internal teams and external clients
  • Comply with all applicable Fatigue Management regulations and training requirements

Candidate Requirements

  • Holder of a minimum HR (Heavy Rigid) licence
  • Physically capable to handle demanding manual tasks associated with the role
  • Flexible with availability to start early shifts between 4-5am and undertake overtime as required
  • Strong commitment to safety with a Zero Harm mindset
  • Dependable, positive attitude, and eagerness to learn
  • Willingness to complete a pre-employment medical examination including drug and alcohol testing
