Driver

About the Role

The Nurses and Midwives Council of Ghana is seeking applications for the position of Driver to support the transportation needs of officials and ensure vehicle upkeep at designated locations.

Key Responsibilities

• Transport official goods and equipment safely between assigned destinations.
• Conduct thorough daily inspections of the vehicle before and after trips, managing minor repairs.
• Coordinate and ensure completion of scheduled vehicle maintenance and report accordingly.
• Compile and submit detailed trip reports.
• Deliver safety briefings to officials and document any accidents or incidents as required.

Qualifications and Experience

• Possess at least a WASSCE or SSSCE certificate.
• Hold a valid driving license of category D or higher.
• Have certification from a recognized driving institute.
• Accumulate a minimum of six years of relevant work experience after obtaining the driving license.

Skills and Competencies

• Exhibit trustworthiness and strong integrity.
• Demonstrate excellent leadership abilities.
• Capable of coordinating activities across multiple geographical areas.
• Possess effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• Have good understanding of evolving technologies in transport management.
