We seek a dedicated and professional individual to join our Head Office team as a Driver. The successful candidate will provide reliable, safe transportation support, serving management, staff, and visiting local and expatriate personnel.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate company vehicles with utmost safety and responsibility, adhering strictly to road traffic rules and internal driving policies.
• Perform thorough vehicle inspections before and after trips daily, reporting any mechanical issues or defects to the supervisor promptly.
• Maintain cleanliness and good condition of assigned vehicles at all times.
• Support basic vehicle upkeep and assist the mechanical team with minor equipment tasks as necessary.
• Transport staff, expatriate visitors, and authorized individuals professionally, ensuring comfort, safety, and timely arrivals.
• Keep detailed and accurate records including vehicle logbooks, trip documentation, and fuel consumption reports as per company protocols.
• Carry out additional tasks assigned by management within the scope of the role.

Essential Qualifications and Requirements

• Valid Class C Driver’s Licence is mandatory.
• Minimum educational qualification: Senior High School (SHS) certificate.
• Physical and mental fitness suitable for the job responsibilities.
• Possess good visual acuity and depth perception.
• Dependability and a strong sense of responsibility are required.
• Possession of valid NHIS Card, Ghana Card, and SSNIT Number is essential.
• Residency within Sunyani is compulsory.
• Previous driving experience, ideally in agricultural or plantation environments, is advantageous.

• Expertise in safe and defensive driving with solid understanding of traffic laws and road safety principles.
• Familiarity with local routes, roads, and effective navigation skills.
• Capability to execute basic vehicle inspections, identify issues, and perform routine maintenance checks.

• Strong interpersonal and communication abilities to interact professionally with colleagues and visitors.
• Quick decision-making, vigilance, and calmness under pressure.
• Ability to follow instructions, maintain company procedures, and accurate record keeping.

• High levels of discipline, integrity, and professional conduct.
• Competent to operate independently and cooperatively within a team setting.
