Role Overview and Responsibilities

• Operate Class 4 and/or Class 5 commercial vehicles with a focus on safety and responsibility.
• Transport goods, equipment, and materials to assigned destinations punctually according to schedules.
• Ensure compliance with traffic laws and company policies while collecting and delivering shipments.
• Conduct thorough vehicle inspections and basic maintenance checks before and after trips.
• Promptly report any vehicle defects, accidents, or maintenance needs to relevant parties.
• Assist in loading and unloading tasks when necessary, ensuring cargo security and safe transportation.
• Maintain accurate delivery documentation, trip records, and related paperwork.
• Keep assigned vehicles clean and in proper working condition.
• Perform additional duties as directed by supervisors.

Candidate Requirements

• Hold a valid Singapore Class 4 and/or Class 5 driving licence.
• Preferably have at least 2 years of commercial driving experience within Singapore.
• Good understanding of Singapore’s road networks and traffic regulations.
• Maintain a clean driving record.
• Physically capable of handling loading and unloading responsibilities.
• Demonstrate reliability, punctuality, and a strong emphasis on safety.
• Able to work independently with minimal oversight.
• Basic English communication skills required; knowledge of Mandarin or other languages is a plus.
• Experience driving various vehicle types such as tipper trucks, lorries, hook lifts, concrete mixers, trailers, or other heavy vehicles is advantageous.
• Exposure to industries like construction, logistics, waste management, or engineering is preferred.
