Role Overview

This full-time Driver position, located in Addis Ababa, blends onsite driving duties with occasional work-from-home for paperwork and scheduling. The driver will ensure the efficient and safe transport of goods between restaurant outlets, warehouses, and suppliers.

Key Duties

• Operate company trucks along assigned routes following schedules.
• Load and unload cargo safely, ensuring secure transport.
• Conduct basic vehicle inspections and report maintenance requirements.
• Maintain accurate records of deliveries and trips.
• Comply with local traffic laws and safety guidelines.
• Communicate professionally with restaurant staff, suppliers, and occasionally customers, representing the company respectfully.

Essential Qualifications

• Proficient in driving commercial trucks with safe handling and local route knowledge.
• Possess a valid commercial driver’s license (Class A or equivalent) with a clean driving history.
• Good communication skills to coordinate effectively with various teams.
• Customer service aptitude to uphold polite and courteous interactions.
• Ability to secure and manage cargo appropriately.
• Basic knowledge of vehicle maintenance and pre-trip safety checks.
• Dependability, punctuality, and ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• High school diploma or equivalent; prior driving experience in hospitality or retail logistics is preferred.
