Overview

Saint Hardyal Educational and Orphans Welfare Society (SHEOWS) requires a responsible driver based in Okhla Vihar to support essential transportation duties. This role involves safe driving for staff, elderly residents, and visitors, often on short notice, ensuring their comfort and reliability during transit.

Key Responsibilities

• Safely transport staff, elderly individuals, and guests to various appointments, community events, and outreach programs.
• Provide assistance to elderly passengers when getting in and out of the vehicle as necessary.
• Perform routine vehicle upkeep tasks such as cleaning, checking fuel levels, monitoring tire pressure, and general maintenance.
• Maintain detailed records of trips, fuel consumption, and vehicle maintenance activities.
• Promptly report any accidents or vehicle mechanical issues.
• Adhere strictly to traffic laws and all organizational safety guidelines.
• Conduct errands including transporting documents, supplies, and medicines as required.

Candidate Requirements

• Possess a valid commercial or light motor vehicle driving license with a clean driving history.
• Minimum of two years driving experience; prior work involving elderly or patient transportation is advantageous.
• Good knowledge of Gurgaon and Delhi NCR area routes.
• Fundamental understanding of vehicle maintenance procedures.
• Demonstrate a patient and courteous demeanor, essential for assisting elderly passengers.
• Reliable and punctual professional conduct.
• Familiarity with driving electric vehicles (EVs).

Preferred Qualifications

• Basic first-aid knowledge.
• Experience working with non-governmental organizations or caregiving institutions.
