Job Summary and Responsibilities

• Serve as the technical expert for the Cortex portfolio, a next-generation AI-powered security operations platform.
• Partner with sales teams to recommend and develop customized security solutions within your area of expertise.
• Engage with customers at all organizational levels, acting as our representative and trusted advisor.
• Lead responses to RFIs and RFPs as the primary Cortex technical contact.
• Conduct and guide product demonstrations that highlight our unique capabilities.
• Manage Proof of Value projects to demonstrate technical viability and secure customer buy-in, adhering to best practices.
• Enhance technical validation success and Proof of Value win rates within your specialization.
• Discuss how our products align with customer requirements and differentiate from competitors.
• Design solutions aimed at enhancing and simplifying customers' security frameworks.
• Create High-Level Design documents and define key use cases to guarantee effective implementation and value delivery.
• Support customers in expanding services around Cortex technologies.
• Lead industry trend discussions and advise on evolving security landscapes.
• Offer credible insights on competitor offerings and position Palo Alto Networks solutions as superior.
• Coordinate with internal teams (Product Management, Technical Marketing, R&D) by providing customer feedback to influence product development.

Required Experience and Skills

• At least 3 years of experience in Security Operations, sales engineering, or pre-sales roles involving SIEM, SOAR, SOC, or XDR/EDR environments, or completion of Palo Alto Networks Academy Program.
• Expertise in IBM QRadar design, deployment, or pre-sales is highly valued.
• Proven customer engagement abilities, with strong problem-solving skills and a proactive attitude.
• Comprehensive understanding of Security Operations Center workflows.
• Familiarity with SIEM and/or SOAR platforms.
• Scripting skills are beneficial, preferably with Python.
• Travel may be required to support face-to-face meetings; specifics can be discussed with recruiters.
