Document Controller

Role Overview

The Document Controller will be responsible for setting up and maintaining effective document management systems aligned with project specifications. This includes overseeing the intake, logging, dissemination, and monitoring of all project-related documents and correspondence to ensure accuracy and accountability.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement document control systems, standards, and workflows that comply with project requirements.
• Manage the registration, distribution, and tracking process for all project documentation and correspondence.
• Maintain strict version control, proper classification, and systematic archiving to assure document integrity and traceability.
• Collaborate with project teams, consultants, and contractors to guarantee timely submission and approval of required documents.
• Keep track of document progress and proactively follow up on outstanding submissions, approvals, and necessary updates.
• Ensure adherence to organizational policies and project-specific documentation standards.
• Generate and present regular reports detailing document status, submissions, and approvals for managerial oversight.
• Safeguard the confidentiality and security of all project-related documents throughout the documentation lifecycle.

Qualifications & Experience

• 3 to 6 years of professional experience in a relevant domain.
• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Management, or a closely related field.
• Possession of professional certifications such as Document Control Certification, ISO 9001 (Document Management), or comparable accreditations.
