About Parsons and the Role
Embark on a career opportunity with Parsons, a forward-thinking company fostering innovation and growth. Join an energetic team on the prominent Qiddiya Project in Riyadh as a Document Controller, managing vital documentation for the Asset Management team. This position plays a crucial role during the transition of newly built properties into operational status.
Key Responsibilities
- Administer and input data into the Oracle Aconex document management system.
- Log, classify, and register incoming drawings, operation and maintenance manuals, and technical documents with precise adherence to naming conventions and metadata standards.
- Distribute technical documents effectively to asset directors and teams through automated workflows.
- Maintain an up-to-date master log of all documents to ensure team access to the latest versions.
- Assist in asset integration during Digital Vesting by verifying the completeness of uploaded manuals and warranties.
- Organize documentation by asset categories for easy retrieval, supporting prompt responses to maintenance needs.
- Conduct quality checks on all uploaded files for readability, format accuracy, and correct revision levels.
- Identify and communicate errors or omissions in document submissions to relevant contractors or project teams.
- Participate in internal audits to ensure the integrity and completeness of the document archive.
Required Qualifications and Skills
- Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Management, Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Up to three years of experience handling technical documentation in construction, real estate, facility management, or engineering contexts.
- Practical experience or formal training with Oracle Aconex, including knowledge of transmittals, workflows, and document registers.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Adobe Acrobat PDF editing tools.
- Basic expertise in managing technical drawings, blueprints, and operations manuals.
- Strong attention to detail, with the ability to detect errors swiftly.
- Effective communication skills for liaising with contractors and project teams regarding documentation requirements.
- Demonstrated time management capabilities to handle large volumes of documents efficiently without delay.
