Position Overview

Goldwind is looking to hire a Document Control Specialist (Junior Document Controller) and a Document Control Lead (Lead Document Controller) for a wind farm construction project based in Karakalpakstan, Uzbekistan.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and regularly update both digital and physical document filing systems.
  • Label, catalog, and securely store all documents following proper version control protocols.
  • Review documents to verify completeness, accuracy, and adherence to company standards, ensuring approval workflows are followed before circulation.
  • Distribute documents to relevant departments and provide authorized personnel with prompt access upon request.
  • Ensure all documentation complies with regulatory and internal policies, maintaining confidentiality and data security.
  • Collaborate with teams to enhance document management procedures and conduct training on document control protocols when required.
  • For Lead Document Controller roles, supervise junior document controllers and assistants while improving document management system processes.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Commerce, Business Administration, or related fields.
  • Fluency in English, Russian, and Uzbek languages.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools.
  • Previous experience in document control within the construction or energy sectors, preferably at a multinational corporation.
  • Strong familiarity with document management systems and workflows.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • High motivation to acquire new skills and knowledge.
