DJ

Role Overview

The DJ will be responsible for playing and blending recorded music to energize and engage audiences by selecting tracks skillfully and managing audio equipment competently. This role may also include interacting with attendees as an emcee or host to enhance the entertainment experience.

Key Duties

• Select music thoughtfully and operate sound systems during events.
• Engage and read the audience's preferences to maintain an exciting environment.
• Assist management by supporting recruitment, training, scheduling, performance evaluation, motivating, and coaching employees.
• Build and maintain positive relationships with coworkers to achieve shared objectives.
• Adhere strictly to company safety protocols and report any hazards or incidents.
• Maintain a professional and clean personal appearance and uphold confidentiality of sensitive information.
• Greet guests warmly, anticipate their needs, and express sincere appreciation for their presence.
• Communicate professionally with colleagues and guests, including telephone etiquette.
• Ensure quality standards are consistently met.
• Perform physical activities such as standing, sitting, walking throughout shifts, handling equipment up to 50 pounds, navigating confined spaces, and moving on stairs or ramps.
• Execute other reasonable tasks as assigned by supervisors.

Preferred Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent GED certification.
• Minimum of one year relevant work experience.
• No supervisory experience required.
• No license or certification necessary.

Additional Information

• Salary offered is £65,000 annually.
• Location: Salwa Road, Fereej Bin Mahmoud, Zone 23, Doha, Qatar.
• Position is full-time and non-management level.
• The work setting is onsite with no remote options.
