About the Role
Join Vision Express, one of the UK's premier eyecare providers, as a qualified Dispensing Optician based at our flagship store in Hendon, England. In this position, you'll have the opportunity to work with leading eyewear brands such as Ray-Ban, Oakley, and Prada. Your expertise will be essential in guiding customers to find personalized eyewear solutions, while collaborating closely with clinicians and retail professionals to deliver an outstanding in-store experience.
Key Responsibilities and Skills
- Provide expert guidance and consultation tailored to individual eyecare requirements.
- Handle market-leading frames and lenses with precision and care.
- Support clinical and retail teams to maintain a high-performance environment.
- Maintain accurate interpretation of prescriptions and detailed record-keeping.
- Stay informed on the latest optical trends, industry standards, and regulatory requirements.
- Manage common eye conditions including dry eye and myopia effectively.
Working Hours and Flexibility
This role requires some weekend availability, with preferred evening shifts to accommodate customer needs. Opportunities for compressed work hours may be discussed to tailor your ideal working schedule.
Qualifications and Eligibility
Applicants must hold a formal qualification approved for practicing as a Dispensing Optician in the UK and be registered with the General Optical Council.
